herbaceous vegetation in opening in woodland on level
upland on gently rolling landscape mantled by Pleistocene
terrace deposits, on soils mapped as Altoga silty clay
(deep, well drained, calcareous, moderately alkaline Typic
Ustochrepts) but clearly something sandier and perhaps acid
or neutral, W side of parking lot for soccer fields in southern
unit of East Metro Park, ca. 1200 ft. W of jet. of Blake-
Manor Rd. and Burleson-Manor Rd., at N30°17’03.2”
