Shrub with yellow fruits. Fruits have a persistent style with 5
gynoecium.
Stephenson settlement, found on the west side of the main road, near a
well. Disturbed roadside dry evergreen forest / coppice.

Not previously listed as occurring on Cat Island (Correll & Correll, 1982).
This was the first time 1 had ever seen this plant and the only place on the
island 1 saw it.
