Britt. Shrub about 1 meter tall. Specimens with fruits and white flowers, inflorescence is a scorpoid cyme. Foliage is covered with dense, fine, silky hairs giving the plant a whitish appearance. The leaves are many, lower ones die and are left hanging. Pinders Settlement, south of Salt Pond. Found on the beach strand at the end of a road that leads to the "north side" (Atlantic caost), in view of Guanna Cay.. 23°1821 N Longitude 75°0554W Most report no use for this plant, however one consultant reported he put it in his bush tea because it "gives ya lots of energy."
