Common Name Goldenrod, Coolin Rod, Yellow or Orange Blossomed Sage
Description	Shrub with yellowish orange flowers, some with dark purplish-
blue fruits. Flowers and vegetation have a nice aromatic, almost
citrus-like scent.
Location/Habitat Along to the old farm road between Old Bight and Port Howe, but closer
to the later. The main road (good pavement) ends at the turnoff to
Greenwood Beach Resort. Continue onto farm road, past 2 salt ponds.
Found in a disturbed roadside farm.

Uses/Comments Limbs of this shrub are boiled and the resulting decoction is bathed in and
drunk, to treat chicken pox, measles, skin rashes and itches, sores, and
cuts. Liquid is also sometimes gargled for a sore throat.
