Location
United States of America. North Carolina. Brunswick Co. River at head of Orton Pond, just west of bridge on River Rd SE / 133. Southeast of Boiling Lakes.

Habitat
Occasional to locally frequent in the open floor of a floolplain forest. Black/very dark brown stained water with no discernible current. Dominated by Nyssa biflora.

Description
Flowers white, labellum pale yellow centrally to strongly yellow centrally. Very fragrant. Leaves dark green, lanceolate, very large. Flowers visited by a single Bombus impatiens. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
