Habitat
"Baixo": low-lying area, much of it periodically swamped by overflow of many streams. Canopy mostly closed, few palms or broad-leaved monocots in this area. Many ferns, also slender trees, shrubs, lianas.

epiphytic herb. Epiphyte, sori orange. On rotting fallen tree trunk on forested slope above stream. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
