Patch of shrubs along steep W-facing bank along road, to 1.5
m. tall, evidently spreading from cultivated shrubs with Picea
glauca, Pinus strobus near house on the slope above. Bristles
reddish, on stem, petioles etc. Inflorescences hanging; flowers
odorless (11:30 A.M., sunny), deep pink, with pale yellowish
green spot on standard.
