    Moist shady streamside in Poulus tremuloides woodland. Uplands of dry Artemisia tridentata/ Purshia tridentata scrub on granitic soil with granite outcrops. With Rosa woodsii, Pinus monophylla, Cercocarpus ledifolius, Ribes cereum, Salix lutea, Mimulus primuloides, Sphenosciadium, Achillea millefolium, Stellaria, Taraxicum, Dodecatheon. Common, scattered throughout area.
