Superstition Mountains-Goldfield Mountains area, State Route 88 (Apache Trail) ,0.5 miles southwest of Canyon Lake overlook, T2NR9ES. 8, center west 1/2, 33DEG 31'53" N lat, 111DEG 27' 13" W long, 701 meters, 2300 ft. Roadside, Arizona Upland Sonoran Desert vegetation including Carnegiea, Encelia farinosa, Selaginella, Agave chrysantha, Penstemon eatoni, Dasylirion wheeleri, Cercidium microphyllum, Fouquieria, Ambrosia deltoidea, Sphaeralcea.
