Common components of seldom- mown grassy roadsides, with Agropyron, Dactylis glomerata, Poa, Solidago. Sprawling herb, especially common and forming large, solid patches along banks of the Interstate 80 where evidently planted to control erosion. Flowrs apparently with very faint fragrance; standard pink-purple with darker lines at base; wings white; keel white with dark purplish tip. Coll.: M.
