I.-2«9** Department of Santa Cruz Province of Velasco Parque Nacional Noel Kempff Mercado. The Mauritiella Palm Swamp at Cuatro Vientos. Elevation: 205 meters. S.14031'16" x W.61°07'01" Shrub; ca. 1.5 meters tall. Only one individual noted, growing near to hummocks of Mauritiella armata. Bark flaky, dark tan. Flowers magenta. Habitat: a large expanse of weakly coalesced floating mat; dominated by Eleocharis acutangula, with abundant Syngonanthus sp. and Cyrtopodium paludicolum. August 14, 1996 #3577 Collected by: N.
