Long. [GPS] Along highway from Santa Cruz to La
Guardia, 3.3 kilometers northeast of the market in La
Guardia. Elevation 475 meters. Coordinate datum WGS
84 / NAD 83. Deep sandy soil - probably vegetated old
dunes.
Sandy pasture with scattered trees with Galeanthes,
Acrocomia aculeata, Psidium guineense, Dictyloma
peruvianum, Cordia alliodora, Stachytarpheta
canescens, Rhamnidium elaeocarpum, Annona
muricata. Flowers golden yellow with orange center;
infrequent erect herb.
