C.R. #9 ca. 1.9 km. north of Cinco Esquinas enroute to Volcan Poas at an elev. of 1900 m. Disturbed and overgrown roadside banks. Erect shrubs 1-1.5 m. tall. Petals creamy white occasionally with a very faint tinge of pink. Antepetalous anthers deep pink to reddish with yellow appendages. Ante- sepalous anthers and appendages yellow.
