Aralia elata (Miq.) Seem.
NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek
Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School at the edge of the
woods next to the school athletic fields. Medium sized clump
of approx. 7 stems to about 7 m tall. Mostly in bud. At the
edge of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland, with Vitis,
Toxicodendron radicans, and Celastrus orbiculatus.
