The New York Botanical Garden Cultivated Plants of U.S.A. Tiliaceae Tilia x europaea L., vel aff. det.M. Nee, 2010 NEW York state, Bronx Co., Bronx, tree in line of this species planted along edge of playing fields behind Fordham Prep school at Fordham University Rosehill Campus. 40°51 ’52”N, 73°53’05”W. alt. 26 m. Tufts of hairs in leaf axils below are whitish. Branchlets horizontal, the leaves held in a regular plane above, and the inflorescences hanging below. Flowers fragrant. Coll.: M.
