South side of the Fox River, 500 feet north of Fox Road, Fox, west-southwest of Yorkville, east of Silver Springs State Park. Elevation 650 feet. Loam over gravelly glacial till. Margin of secondary forest, hedgerow, with Acer negundo, Alliaria, Bromus inermis, Celtis occidentalis, Comus racemosa, Festuca obtusa, Fraxinus, Geum canadense, Juglans nigra, Morus alba, Prunus americana, P. serotina, Vitis riparia. Common tree 10-15 meters tall; flowers pale cream-yellow, sweetly fragrant, pendulous. Steven R. Hill 36420 23 June 2005
