Tight clump, 5 m. tall, with many stems to 15 cm. in
diameter. Apparently 2 individuals, no. 57167 T. tomentosa
and no. 57168 Tilia americana. Leaves white beneath.
Flowers creamy, lightly fragrant, larger and with a tangier
fragrance than no. 57168\ with many insects, mostly cf.
Lampyridae.
