riparian, with Platanus wrightii,
Alnus, Populus fremontii, Juglans
major, Acer negundo; Ferocactus
acanthodes (yellow-spined form) ,
Agave chrysantha, Opuntia
engelmannii, Tradescantia, Simmondsia
on rocky slopes. Common large
evergreen shrub, flowers whitish-
pink.
