In open, distrubed area in alluvial forest on flood-
plain of Savannah River. Site #13 (Lat. 34°04'30";
Long. 82°38'30"), just north of the S. C. 72 bridge
over the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full pool for proposed Russell Lake). Area to be
impounded in the mid-1980?s by the U. S. Army
Corps of Engineers.
