Harbor. Elevation 10-20 feet.
Pockets of thin sandy humus on granitic bedrock with
glacial erosion features.
Coastal boreal forest mix, Picea, Abies, Vaccinium
angustifolium, Betula, Rosa, Potentilla, Juniperus.
Flowers white, pendulous, campanulate; leaves dark
green, shiny, leathery, pale beneath; locally common
dwarf shrubby perennial with short erect stems in
crevices.
