Along Timberline Lodge road N of US Rt. 26, SW-facing slope of Mt. Hood (summit is at 11235 ft). A jet. with rd angled sharply NE downslope. Elev. ca. 4500-5000 ft. West Cascade Range & Crest Ecoregion. Volcanic ash and gravel with humus. Montane conifer forest with Tsuga mertensiana, Pseudotsuga, Abies amabilis.
