Weedy vertical roadbank with heavily disturbed Andean Forest.
Shrub to 1.5 m tall. Flowers 4-merous, with only 4 stamens. Petals
magenta, spreading. Style and filaments magenta. Anthers pale
yellow, flushed distally with purple. Anther appendages pink.
Calyx lobes persistent. Some flowers morphologically
protogynous. Uncommon.
