Flowers 5-merous. Petals spreading, white but turning pink and persisting after style and androecium have fallen away. Filaments white like straight style which is about same length as the filaments. Anthers yellow, erect. Berry purple at maturity with a distinct terminal neck and persistent calyx lobes. One plant seen.
