Secondary Bosque Pluvial Tropical.
Shrub epiphytic on trees along river. Flowers 6-merous, petals white
with a flush of pink, widely spreading. Hypanthium narrowed
abruptly into a distinct neck below the calyx lobes. Filaments white
and declined to one side of the flower. Anthers yellow and laterally
fused for 3/4 of their length. Style and stigma white, straight and
exceeding androecium in length. Occasional.
