GUYANA. Conservation Intemation concession on the Essequibo River.
Cl line 12. 139 m 3021'58.4"N 58011'19"W. Lecythidaceae dominant
with Inga and Annonaceae understory. Red laterite soil with some brown
sand mix. Erect herb. Inflor pendant. Boat-like bracts red below with
green margins. Fruits white turning purple. Silica sample.
