LEMHI CO: East slope Lemhi Range, Salmon National
Forest, vie. Leadore. South shore of second lake
on Stroud Creek on quartzite talus beneath Pinus
albicaulis, Abies lasiocarpa, elevation ca 9,300
ft. With Cassiope, Phyllodoce empetriformis, P.
glanduliflora, Saxifraga bronchialis, Arenaria
obtusiloba. Pits low, loosely mat forming; lvs
generally linear, rounded at apex and with a prom,
mid-groove, med. dk green. FIs terminal or nearly
so, pedicels light yellowish-green, yellow-glandu-
lar w/ clear to reddish stalks; calyx green, glab.
with reddish tips and/or margins; corolla campanu-
late-urceolate, very light pink to nearly white
with a slightly yellow base; anthers deep lavender-
purple, unawned, the filaments white with short,
spreading hairs.
