terrestrial fern, indûment orange-brown; fronds
tripinnate, 2.0--2.5 m long, axes unwinged; pinnae shiny
green both sides, pinnules serrate, the apical ones
largest on ultimate rachides; sori with about 8--10 fused
sporangia.
