IDAHO; Bonner Co., Dickensheet Campground along Priest River, 5.5 miles SW of Coolin, SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 Section 19 T.59N R.4W; 2,500 ft., morainal soil (gravelly); shaded, disturbed Thuja plicata/ Clintonia uniflora habitat type with Abies grandis, Picea engelmanii and Pinus monticola; rare with Pachistima myrsinites, Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, Smilacina stellata and Vaccinium membranaceum; orange-bronze flowers, height 1-1.5 meters.
