Placer County. About 15 miles SE of Interstate Hwy #80
at Soda Springs on the trail to Upper Sheep Valley at
6000-7000 ft. (1829-2134 m). Montane meadows and mixed
coniferous forest of the Sierra Nevada.
Shrub 1.5 m tall. Flowers white. Uncommon in wet
depressions bordering a stream.
