On steep, northeast-facing, hardwood slope along
intermittent stream flowing south into Beaverdam
Creek. Site #37 (Lat. 34°05’25"; Long. 82°40;40"),
about 0.75 mile north of County Road 244 bridge over
Beaverdam Creek; east of road; about 1.5 miles due
west of Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour
(full-pool for proposed Russell Lake).
