Shrub to 3.5 m tall, with up to 25 steins in a clump;
at very edge of hank of small blackwater stream
and with dense shrub thicket on slightly elevated
terrain behind and to either side, mostly titi. At
crossing of Cedar Creed, forest road 125, between
Sumatra and Fla. Rt. 67, Apalachicola National Forest.
Fruit cerise in color, not lustrous, oblate to sub-
globose, mostly 8-12 mm across*
