Shrub. Inflorescent bracts green, quickly turning brown; flower bracts deciduous. Inflorescent rachis, pedicels, and calyx light green with a ting of red. Calyx lobes marginal gland red-black. Corolla urceolate slightly basally inflated, somewhat translucent, whitish at base, purplish distally. The lobes white and internally opaque. Style exert pale green.
