LAKE ARROWHEAD AREA: SE of Papoose Lake and north of
“Cedar Glen" neighborhood. Yellow pine forest w/ scattered oaks
(mostly Quercus kelloggii) on steep hillside w/ Arctostaphylos
pringleicommon in understory. Small wetland area and sandy
wash immediately below dam.
Common to abundant shrub, ca. 1.5 m tall. Fruit and pedicle
viscid. Fr just beginning to turn red. Basal burl absent.
