A member of a presumed hybrid swarm which
may involve Arctostaphylos densiflora,
A. Stanfordiana, A. Manzanita, and A.
glandulosa. The names "A. ambigua East-
wood" and "A. ambigua M. S. Baker" have
been associated with this plant but were
