Apparently influenced by hybridization with H. X vemalis Sara, and/or
H. virginiana L. var. henryi Jenne in the Central Gulf Coast of the United
States.
Examined at Vanderbilt University in a study of variation in North
American Hamamelis L. (Hamamelidaceae).
