Compartment 96 Desoto National Forest, near headwaters of
Garraway Creek, T2N R11W Sec. 6 NE/4. Shallow ravine in
mixed pine-hardwoods, on mid to upper slope of mixed pine-
hardwood slope. Locally common with nearby Stewartia
malacodendron and Magnolia macrophylla.
