edge of Las Flores Fire of 21 March 2007. Sandy alluvial flats.
Copse of 5-6 trees within 20 m of roadway. All trees are resprouting in
response to a past event, possibly drought, anthracnose (observed), fire,
or combination. Associates include Eriodictyon trichocalyx, Artemisia
tridentata, Fraxinus velutina, and Salix ssp. Collector's plant #5.
