Voucher for bulk medicinal screening by Pfizer Inc.: 43899a FR (Nee-643) 43899b LF (Nee-644) 43899c TW (Nee-645) "bodark [i.e. bois d’arc]" The fruits are called "bodark apples" or "horse apples". Small tree 20 cm. in diameter, common in many forest types in the region; bark furrowed, brown. Branches arching. Fruit yellow-green, with sticky yellowish creamy sap; cut fruits scarcely completely dry after more than three weeks in the sun. Coll.: M. Nee 43899 18 Sept. 1993 02512910
