Ness NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School, growing at the edge of the woods next to the athletic fields in a disturbed clearing. Small, young tree, approx. 2.44 m tall. Broken twigs emit a fruity smell. Growing at the edge of an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Aster (Eurybia) divaricata, Celastrus orbiculatus, Alliaria petiolata, Acer rubrum, Acer platanoides, and Viburnum acerifolium. Matthew C.
