Four-hectare permanent sample plot 1 km N of BOSCOSA station in well-drained undulating terrain with slopes of 15 - 35°. Tall primary forest with many palms and large lianas. Characteristic species: Symphonia, Carapa, Brosimum utile, Qualea, Otoba, Iriartea and Vantanea. 8°43TSf 83°31"W Altitude 350 m DBH 41.8 cm. Fallen fruits first observed in January, but mainly falling in early April. Local name “aguacate”, “aguacate de indio” and “aguacate de montaña”. Karsten Thomsen # 568 No. dupl.: 4.
