United States of America. Nevada. Nye Co. 143 miles southwest of Ely, Nevada (i.e. Nye Co., 29 miles E of Tonopah).

Description
herb. Fragment from Garrett Herbarium. One stem 25 cm. long, herbage glabrous below but holding sand. leaves thick, sharply and finely serrate to entire; a few scattered hairs in inflor. but more sand held here than in the lower part of the plant; glands not evident; corolla rather colorless but some lavender showing on margins of lobes, apparently whitish to lavender when fresh, guide lines apparently absent. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
