Secondary vegetation along roadside, with caatinga, and dry deciduous forest.

Description
Woody climber to 3m. Leaves rather pale green paler beneath. Stem galucous green with reddish tinges. Flower buds coriaceous in small red-tinged heads. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
