Flora of Bolivia Family: Salviniaceae Salvinia minima Baker Determined by: N. Ritter (NHA), 1997 Department of Beni Province of Cercado Laguna Suarez, approximately 5 km S.E. of the city of Trinidad. Elevation: ca. 160 meters. Approximate location: 14°53'W. 64C51'W. Free-floating macrophyte. Abundant. No fertile individuals noted. Habitat: marshy area along the edge of the lake. Dominated by Ipomea came, and an assemblage of free-floating macrophytes, including Salvinia spp. and Limnobium laevigatum. Abundant sediments in suspension.
