Flora of Bolivia Family: Combretaceae Department of Beni Province of Vaca Diez Town of Riberalta A large wetland S.E. of the airport. Elevation ca. 170 meters. Approximate center of the collecting area: ir01'53"S. 66°3'H"W. Liana. Growing on trees to a height of about six meters. Only one individual noted. Flowers present, but the majority were still in bud. Latex present: turning orange after exposed to the air. Habitat: a large basin swamp. This area characterized by fairly closed canopy of Diospyros sp. Apparently inundated year-round. July 7, 1997 #4130 Collected by: Nur Ritter and Garrett Crow 02481115
