Edge of deciduous forest.

Description
Vine growing on the ground and scandent on rocks and vegetation; leaves dark green, proximally very large, distally smaller; fruit oblong, mottled green and white in vertical bands. The vegetation here appeared much disturbed very recently from the removal of Persicaria perfoliata which was formerly abundant here. The vine bearing this fruit was previously cut and wilting fast. This plant was probably planted by a Park visitor. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
