Emergent herb. Abundant.
Growing in small pools along the
edge of the river. Corolla purple with
white markings. Habitat: marshy
area alongside the river,
characterized by a mixture of
vegetation. Soil silty clay. Some
areas are dominated by
Myriophyllum aquaticum and others
by Eichhornia crassipes.
