Andrews & Windham Bahamas: Great Abaco, 1.4 miles south along main road from south entrance of Bahama Palm Shores, trun eastward along dirt road for approx. .5 mile, coppice along ridge along paved roadway. N26° 14.31’ W77° 10.033’ Pleopeltis was very abundant and found growing on many surfaces, cacti, rock substrate, and live trees. This collection was taken from live Piscidia piscipula (approx. 24” dhb) and the colony was growing from the base of the tree upwards for approx. 24” and was 8” wide. The coppice was dominated by Metopium, Piscidia, and Sideroxylon foetidissimum but was in very bad condition due to recent Hurricane events. The canopy was open and exposed.
