CULTIVATED PLANTS. C12887 5 October 1977 Cavendishia strobilifera Erect shrub c. 60 cm high. Outer bracts dull pink, inner bracts shining trans- ' lucent pink with sparse brown glandular hairs on abaxial face. Corolla shiny red except terminal 1/5 which is pale green in bud becoming white on opening and going pink with age. Corolla lobes ref}exed. Style pink distinctly exserted. Coll. Aug. 1976, G.
