In rich duff beneath Quercus alba, Liquidambar styraciflua, Betula lenta, and Betula lenta. On slope beneath rock outcrop.

Description
Whole plant white. About 4 or 5 clumps in the immediate area. This plant is extremely common this year in the forest and is growing in places it has not been seen before in living memory. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
