Nee, 2008 Wisconsin, Richland Co., S side of Richland Center, in South Wedgewood Park, across from radio station WRCO studios, floodplain of Pine River. T 10 N; R 1 E; SW % NE % Sect. 28. 43°19’00”N, 90°22’44”W. alt. 220 m. Young woods, somewhat disturbed, of Acer saccharinum, A. negundo, Ulmus americana, Fraxinus pennsylvanica var. subintegerrima, these native but with a recently planted small Quercus bicolor which is otherwise not known from this area. Tree 12 m. tall, with 4 stems, each 20 cm. in diameter, evidently sprouts from damage to a sapling. Lower trunks developing tight diamond ridges. Fruit yellow-green. Coll.: M.
